Can you belive it is back to school already for my kiddos? They were all sooo excited this morning getting ready for school. I have one that was excited to start learning as much as possible, one that was just excited to wear her new clothes and one that was excited because it was all very new! Me. I was excited that they were excited!
Now, that I have all three of them in school all week and two WHOLE days completely free, I’m not exactly sure what to do with all my time. I think I’ll have plenty of time to edit pics, do some designing and focus on some more marketing techniques. Or…….maybe I’ll just sit on the couch with some cookies and a coke and watch a little Gerard Butler.

It’s been a crazy day today, but I’ve managed to get a few pics up for this sweet family! I had a great time hanging out with them, and getting to know a few of them a little better. Thanks for having me in your home. It was a joy!

What a crazy session we had tonight! I thought the weather would hold off for us, but boy was I wrong. I drove all the way downtown, parked in a foreign parking garage and headed out to meet Jamie at our designated spot. As soon as I got out of the parking garage, the rain started coming down pretty hard. I was debating on cancelling the entire session. After walking 4 blocks in the rain, with my camera tucked under my shirt, I decided to go buy an umbrella. Novel idea, right?
Anyway, Jamie and I met up (along with her dad) and we sat a while just chatting and waiting for the rain to stop. Guess what…it finally did! It was still pretty overcast and a bit dark, but we made due and got some great shots!
Jamie, you’re a natural behind the camera. Thanks for sticking it out with me tonight and picking a great location. It suited you just perfect! enjoy!

Meet Alex! For someone who claimed to not know what they were doing behind the camera…..well, you could have fooled me. You look like a pro! Loved spending the evening with you!

This post is all about Cassie! What a natural she is behind the lens! Girl, you rocked it tonight! Hope you enjoy your sneak peek. Oh, and you too Marley!

I had the great pleasure tonight to shoot a senior session with twin sisters, Cassie and Alex. Once again, the crazy Colorado weather held out for us. Whew!
Girls, I had so much fun running around downtown with you and dodging traffic. Here are a few of you together. There are many more to come!

I am one that LOVES color! The more color, the happier I am. Because of this you rarely see me post a black and white image. I really have to make myself even change the photo to black in white in photoshop. On the rare occasion I do this change, I sometimes come to see the true magic of black and white images. Here is one magic b/w moment I came to LOVE this week.
Color vs B/W? What do you think?

Mara is one of my two Senior Reps this year! Isn’t she beautiful! We had such a fun time during our session. I thought we might get rained out, but all my praying payed off, and we were blessed with gorgeous weather! A big thanks to Jeanie for all her help and for those muscles!

Congratulations to my two Senior Rep Search 2011 WINNERS! Here they are in their entry photos! I can’t wait to take them out on their photo shoots!
