I'm pretty simple. I've been in love with the same man since I was 16 years old. He is my best friend and we believe in each other....always have....always will. We have 3 of the most beautiful children you'll ever lay eyes on! I'm most comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt (baseball undershirts are my fave!) although I do love getting dressed up for a night out on the town. Sushi Den, anyone? I'm a southern girl through and through. I fell in love with crawfish way before my man! I love to eat! Give me a huge slice of chocolate cake with fudge icing and a cold coke and I'm in heaven! I'm a Daddy's girl. I love the outdoors and I am more than willing to take part in anything remotely competitive. I hate to lose even more than I hate clutter. I am a lover of practical jokes and was taught by the best. This is why, to this day, I don't answer my Mother's phone calls on April Fool's Day. I cherish my friends and family. They are the ones that have made me who I am. I love the Lord with all my heart. He is my strength and my joy. He has blessed me in every way! Oh, yeah......and did I mention I LOVE photography! It is my PASSION!

I had such a good time with this sweet little girl today. A few months ago I hosted a Matilda Jane Trunk Show. This sweet one’s Momma bought this adorable dress and earned a free mini session with me at the same time. According to her Mom, Eliana knows how to accessorize with any outfit. Today, she was rockin’ her favorite boots! Too cute!
I had such a good time at tonight’s session. We managed to find the PERFECT location for Audrey and I was so excited that she was so pleased. It was a beautiful find and one that I’ll definitely be going back to. I loved all the colors and the light was beautiful.
Audrey, you’re adorable and funny and I loved every minute of it.
I don’t have to tell you if I had to dodge the rain tonight. It has become my M.O. for photo sessions. We managed to work around it though.
Meet gorgeous Susana! She kept saying she was nervous, and that she was not photogenic……um…I beg to differ. Susana, you’re beautiful! I enjoyed this session so much, except for lugging that chair around. 
Really, though…that chair helped make the pics even better. Thanks to my friend Kristen for the loan.
It was such a nice evening out tonight for Ben’s session. We met up downtown and strolled along the back streets to find just the right spot to shoot. It was a great time and I enjoyed talking with him and his Mom and getting to know them both. They both made me laugh and we all know, I love to laugh. I think we got some great shots. Such a handsome young man!

Aunt Sissy is in town for the week. The kids have been so excited to see her and are trying to spend as much time as possible with her before she leaves. She wanted to go out for a quick photo shoot with the kids, so here are some of the images. I took advantage of my kids being clean and dressed nice for some new fall shots as well.
I spent the morning in the park with 4 adorable kiddos! Just look at them. We had a time getting them all to look at the camera, but I think we got some good ones. They are just precious and I love all their personalities. I have to give Mom kudos for getting them all there and dressed nice by our session. You did a great job! Enjoy your sneak peek!
I have been itching to do another newborn session for months! I’ve had tons of ideas and tons of props that I wanted to use. Finally, the day came.
I’m going to let all of you guess what this sweet little girl’s name is from today’s session. There are plenty of hints all through the pictures.
Again, with the RAIN! I don’t know what it is about my booking of sessions, but almost all of them have ALMOST gotten rained out. Tonight’s session was no different. On the way there I see these huge, dark clouds lingering close to my session location. For the first few minutes it rained, but after waiting it out for a few minutes, the rain finally stopped. The rest of the evening was perfect! We got some great shots!

Can you belive it is back to school already for my kiddos? They were all sooo excited this morning getting ready for school. I have one that was excited to start learning as much as possible, one that was just excited to wear her new clothes and one that was excited because it was all very new! Me. I was excited that they were excited!
Now, that I have all three of them in school all week and two WHOLE days completely free, I’m not exactly sure what to do with all my time. I think I’ll have plenty of time to edit pics, do some designing and focus on some more marketing techniques. Or…….maybe I’ll just sit on the couch with some cookies and a coke and watch a little Gerard Butler.
