I spent the morning with such a sweet family! I got there a little early so I was able to get to know this precious little girl a little better. She was so fun to talk to and had such good manners. It made me miss that Princess stage of life with my two little girls. I remember it well.

Laura and Lee, thank you so much for allowing me in your home. I enjoyed capturing this precious time with you. Good luck next week with the delivery. I’ll see you in a few more weeks.

I’ve been looking forward to this session for months. Reasons of which were because I’ve been itching to do another Maternity session (its been a while) plus, the fact that Missy’s new baby is a girl and last but not least of the location. Some good friends of mine kindly opened up their beautful home so that we could sneak some very girly, very gorgeous lit images. I knew they would be beautiful and I’m so pleased with how they turned out.

Thank you Peachy and Rick for opening your home to us for a few hours. We had such a great time and we appreciate your generosity! Be blessed!

I had such a great time with this family yesterday. I have really come to love maternity sessions. There is definitely a certain glow to an expecting mother. One that I can only hope I captured on film. If you couldn’t tell already, this first pose is one of my favorites for maternity. I love the angle and the way the eyes are enhanced.

Thanks so much to the “S” family for allowing me in your home once again and this time letting me do a little rearranging in your living room. I can’t wait to schedule your newborn shoot in just a few weeks! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Beautiful Mom

I love all the directions you can take with photography. I feel as if everytime I do a shoot I walk away learning more and more about poses, lighting, etc. It never gets old and I love every minute of it.

I did a beautiful maternity shoot the other day and I’ve been waiting to post the pics until after Valentine’s Day. The pics were a surprise for her husband, so I’ve had to wait. I think they turned out so great. These were more of an elegant look and I love the softness of the images.

There have been quite of few maternity shoots lately. I have just recently added a “Baby’s First Year” package deal to my repetoire. I have not posted the info to my website yet, but the details are this:

What a fun shoot I had today! Some good friends of mine are expecting their first baby. A little girl. Without a doubt they will be fantastic parents. As you can see they are pretty much guarenteed a beautiful baby. Y’all are naturals behind the camera. Thanks “T” and “C” for having me in your home and sharing an afternoon with you. I had a great time! Soooo many great images to pick from. It was really hard to decide which ones to post for the sneak peak. Here are some of my faves!

So, I had the pleasure to shoot another maternity shoot yesterday. One of my really close friends is expecting her third baby! She is such a beautiful mom! I tried out a few new ideas I had rolling around in my head. How cute is big brother playing cars with his little brother (wink, wink) on mom’s belly. That “3″ was a doozie to get to say on because little one kept kicking it off! So sweet! I love how some of them turned out. Here are my favorites.

What fun! I had my very first maternity shoot today. My good friends are expecting their first baby in just a few weeks. She had a really cute idea to paint her belly. I painted it to match her nursery theme and it came out so cute! She was joking that I may have requests to paint more bellies for photo shoots. I guess we’ll see.
