Have a mentioned how much I LOVE senior sessions? Well, I do! They have quickly become my favorite. This session was no different. We met up in a cool downtown location with tons and tons of possibilities. I really love an urban look when you have the right clothes and feel.

Maren, it was so much fun getting to spend the evening with you, your Mom and your sister. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek. These are some of my favorites!

Here’s some more from last night’s session. Everyone looked super cute in their outfits and I loved all the ruffles! I couldn’t help myself….sneak peeks are meant to see as soon as possible, weather on vacation or not! Enjoy!

I got to spend the evening with some good friends last night. I haven’t seen them in years and years, so it was such fun getting to catch up and meet their children. We had a blast finding places to shoot all over their property and I had the challenge of working with a newborn, 2 year old, 6 year old, all the way up to a 12 year old for some of the shots. I think we got some good ones though. No worries. Oh, and thanks for feeding me after the session. It was so much fun! Here is one of the sneak peeks.

Take a look at this gorgeous family! Mom and I are good friends from high school and we also were roomies in college up until Jimmy and I got married. I was so excited when she contacted me about doing a session with her family. We were both coming into Shreveport, LA from opposite sides of the country so we did alot of phone calls and texting before the day of the session.

I got a call the morning of the session with news of sick kiddos, but you’d never know by the looks of them that they weren’t 100%. Aren’t they just adorable! Sonya, I had a great time! You have a beautiful family!

I’m not sure I have words to describe to you how well this shoot went. There is something magical that happens when all the aspects of a shoot, just fall into place. Location, subject, style, light……it just all clicked! I could not be more pleased with how these turned out.

And………just in case you were wondering, I’m pretty sure I’ve convinced myself to give Seniors another shot!

Melody…..what else can I say…….you’re just stunning!

I am planning a trip down to my southern roots here really soon. The tentative dates I will be in town are March 29th-31st (the week before Easter). Because I will just be there a few days I can only schedule a few shoots. Please contact me if you would like to discuss filling one of my time slots.

This was such a fun session! I was at home in Louisiana for the Thanksgiving holidays and I was able to schedule a shoot with an old friend. She and I were teammates on my highschool softball team. It had been FOREVER since we had seen each other, so it was so great getting to reconnect and get to meet her family. What a beautiful family they are!

I had such a fun time! The whole session was on my parent’s land out in the country. The light was great and the boys had a blast exploring. Sorry, I got them a little dirty……boys will be boys though, right?
